Our Quicklime is made by calcining lump ore supplied by our Yoshii Mining Works and Tsukumi Plant at our Kurashiki and Fukuyama Plants. These products are primarily sold to JFE Steel Corporation West Japan Works. Our Quicklime is refined into three different varieties including lump, powder, and fine powder forms for use in different applications, such as steelmaking, sintering, and pre-processing.

During the sintering process, Mini Pellets are blended with iron-ore fine and coke as an iron source. We receive dry and wet dust-laden steel from JFE Steel Corporation West Japan Works. We then dezinc, dehydrate, and form granules of this material, which is then supplied back to JFE Steel Corporation West Japan Works.
