Our subsidiary Philippine Mining
Service Corporation (PMSC) mines and processes dolomite at the
Alcoy mine at Cebu, the Philippines.
JFE MINERAL assignes its staffs to PMSC and sells Cebu
dolomite to JFE Steel Corporation as a steelmaking submaterial
and to Asahi Glass Co. Ltd., Central Glass Co. Ltd. and other
glass manufacturers as glass material.
| Properties |
The dolomite produced by PMSC is reef
limestone dolomitized ore, with smaller crystal grain
sizes than Japanese dolomite. The product is chemically
stable and contains few impurities.
