JFE Holdings Privacy Statement

JFE MINERAL, Inc. and the JFE Group companies in Japan (JFE Group) have formulated the following policies on the handling of personal information to facilitate the smooth and appropriate administration of Group operations.

1. Designation of purposes, appropriate collection and use activities
   The JFE Group shall, when handling personal information, endeavor to designate the purpose of use as specifically as possible and shall not collect nor use personal information beyond this purpose without the prior consent of the individual. The JFE Group shall not use falsehoods or other illicit means to collect personal information.
2. Safety management
   The JFE Group shall endeavor to maintain the accuracy of personal information it collects and shall take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent illicit access to personal information, disclosure, loss or modification of such information as well as any related damage and injury. It shall also provide necessary and appropriate supervision to employees and service providers handling personal information to ensure the safe and appropriate management of said information.
3. Provision to or joint use with third parties
   The JFE Group shall not furnish personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual. In the event that personal information is used jointly with third parties, the JFE Group shall notify the individual and/or shall publicly publish all matters required by Japanese law in advance.
4. Disclosing, correcting or suspending information and handling complaints
   The JFE Group shall follow all relevant Japanese laws regarding handling requests from individuals to disclose, correct, add to, delete or suspend use of their personal information. The JFE Group shall respond appropriately and quickly to complaints regarding the use of personal information.

All inquires regarding the handling of personal information should be addressed to the General Administration Dept. of JFE MINERAL or to the responsible departments listed on the websites, etc. of individual JFE Group companies.

JFE MINERAL does not want you to, and you should not, send any confidential or proprietary information to JFE MINERAL via the Site. You agree that any information or materials that you or individuals acting on your behalf provide to JFE MINERAL will not be considered confidential or proprietary. By providing any such information or materials to JFE MINERAL, you grant to JFE MINERAL an unrestricted, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publicly perform, transmit and distribute such information and materials, and you further agree that JFE MINERAL is free to use any ideas, concepts or know-how that you or individuals acting on your behalf provide to JFE MINERAL.
