JFE Mineral Co.,Ltd. was
established on 1 July 2004, becoming the only JFE Group company
providing resources and materials, a result of the consolidation
of Kawatetsu Mining Co., Ltd. and Kokan Mining Co., Ltd. By
integrating the environment, style and technologies cultivated
by both companies, we established a management creed of "Contributing
to Society through Creating Value from Resources and Materials",
and began to move forward creating a new history for our newly-formed
company.
At JFE Mineral, we conduct business activities in a variety
of fields, represented by three divisions - the Mineral Products
Division for mining activities; the Iron and Steel Division
for resource recycling activities; and the Advanced Materials
Division for developing new materials that help to form the
foundation of our IT society - in addition to the Environment
Project Department, which is responsible for cleaning soil and
underground water, and protecting the environment.
We provide products and services such as ore products, steel
materials, steel slag products, a soil environment improvement
business, and fine materials represented by electronic components,
in a wide range of volumes to a variety of customers.
Along with efforts to anticipate our customers' needs in advance
and to provide unique and more competitive products, we strive
to ensure customer loyalty, through implementation of QCEDS
(Quality, Cost, Environment, Delivery date and Service), and
our goal is to maintain a reputation as an honorable company,
a company that is evaluated highly by society as well as by
our customers; in other words, "an excellent company",
deserving of the name "Miracle Mineral".
So that we may attain our ideal of being a company that satisfies
our customers' expectations, all of our board members and employees
devote themselves to the task of realizing a company capable
of creating unlimited value, with the motto "Challenge,
Flexibility, Honesty". We keenly look forward to your continued
